The Knight Who Sought A Crone

A short story set in the series “Legacy of the Knight”


Tedarin Aeri is a Temple Knight, an order of men and women whose purpose is to protect the sacred temples of the seven benevolent gods of Roth. He finds himself alone, a veteran of a horrid war and wracked by its memories. A war he should never have fought, a war in which the vicars of his gods, called Magi, commissioned so to defend a realm of man. As he lay in a state of near death on the battlefield, he saw a vision of an old crone guiding him towards a sacred destiny.
